Articulation Therapy

Much of our world is centered around the ability to communicate. For many children, speech may pose a level of difficulty presenting speech sound disorders symptoms including:

  • Omissions/deletions of certain sounds—certain sounds are omitted or deleted

  • Substitutions of one or more sounds resulting in a loss of phonemic contrasts

  • Additions of one or more extra sounds into a word

  • Distortions where certain sounds or words are altered or changed

  • Syllable-level error whereas weak syllables are deleted

During articulation therapy, our pediatric speech pathologist will work one-on-one, modeling correct sounds and syllables often through play, moving through each level until the word is mastered.

Feeding Therapy

Sometimes anxiety surrounding eating certain foods can be attributed to more than just a “picky eater.” Sure, everyone has food that they do not like for a variety of reasons including taste or texture, which can make it difficult to distinguish between a picky eater and an eating problem. At Speech Therapy For All, our feeding specialists will work on an individual level to help distinguish the difference and provide quality solutions in the form of feeding therapy, parent counseling, and other specialized options.

Language Skills Therapy

While everyone’s language skills develop at their own rate if you are concerned about your adult loved ones or a child’s ability to communicate it may be time to make an appointment with a speech pathologist. Our speech pathologists have extensive experience working with a variety of language disorders including nonverbal individuals with speaking, understanding, reading, and writing skills.
